Jenna and Wesley have the sweetest story. They knew each other when they were young and always had a little crush on one another, but it never went anywhere. Then years later they reconnected and completely fell in love and the rest is history!! 

Jenna told me how special the beach was for them and their relationship and specifically how much Margate, NJ meant to them and so it was a no brainer that that's where we had to do their engagement session!

Day of- it honestly wasn't looking good. On the drive over the clouds started to roll in and we really thought it was going to storm. I remember Jenna texting me and asking if we should reschedule, but we were already almost there and if they were down so was I, so we braved the storm!

We started the session at this cute little boardwalk right down the street from The Point! All the boats made for such a fun vibe and we got some really adorable posed shots! One of my favorite things about these two is just how go with the flow they are, you can really tell that they are each others best friends and it honestly makes my heart so happy. 

After spending some time there and getting to know them a bit better, we headed down to The Point to take some pictures with the rocks! This is when we got hit hard by the wind. The beach is always a tricky place to navigate when the winds get bad, but again we totally rolled with it. I'm so happy we did too, because I think these might be my favorite pictures from the whole session. 

Our last stop of the night was to actually go onto the beach. Jenna changed into a longer dress and we had so much fun just frolicking around the beach and getting super creative! We ended up kind of missing sunset due to the clouds, but we did get this really pretty blue hour. I'm so honored to have been able to capture a bit of their love story and who they are as a couple and I'm truly so excited to shoot their wedding this August!!
