Maddy and Kelvin were two people I was really excited to work with for like... ages!! I met them back when I shot Alec and Liv's wedding May of 2023 and Maddy had wanted to plan just a little mini session for the two of them! Timing never ended up working out and before we could plan a proper shoot, Kelvin popped the question!

I was so excited when they reached out to me again, to do their engagement photos and their wedding in August! Not only that, but we got to do them at one of my favorite places in the world- Longwood Gardens!

This was my first session of the season after the long winter and so many things were in bloom! We loved using the tulips and the cherry blossom tree for the background and caught some really sweet moments with the two of them1

After walking around for a bit we headed back to one of my favorite spots in the whole garden, the fountains! Last time I'd been here was the middle of winter for their lights show so it was awesome to see everything on again. One thing the three of us could agree on was that the European Feel of the fountains was something magical!

My favorite thing about an engagement shoot though, is really getting to know my couple and after spending just an hour with Maddy and Kelvin, I am truly SO excited to celebrate their wedding day in just a couple months!!

Also PSA if you want to shoot at Longwood, do it before March 2025 because they'll be implementing a $250 fee to shoot here aside from the regular ticket fee!!
